JEFFERSON AIRPLANE - FILLMORE AUDITORIUM - 1967 HANDBILL - CGC GRADED 9.8
$700.00
This is an original handbill for a benefit concert held at the Fillmore Auditorium. Designed by Jim Blashfield, the artwork is filled with anti-war symbolism. The concert took place on October 29, 1967, and was produced by Citizens for a Yes on Proposition P, a campaign advocating for the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam that was on the San Francisco municipal ballot the following week. The featured bands at the event included Jefferson Airplane, Mother Earth, and Mad River. The handbill showcases vibrant psychedelic artwork and is included in "The Art of Rock" book on page 156, plate 2.89. It has been CGC Graded at 9.8.
